25 YEARS AND STILL AS SWEET—AS EVER!

Salon Du Chocolat - 2018

Salon Du Chocolat – 2018

THE WORLD-RENOWNED SALON DU CHOCOLAT, FOUNDED IN 1994 BY CHOCOLATE LOVERS SYLVIE DOUCE AND FRANÇOIS JEANTET, IS CELEBRATING ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR!

The world’s largest event dedicated to chocolate, cocoa and pastry will be back at the Porte de Versailles in Paris this year from the 30th of October to the 3rd of November, featuring all- new content and a brand new visual identity over 20,000 sqm of exhibition space. This is the only show to focus the spotlight firmly on chocolate and pastry professionals and their products, a proud landmark on the world’s culinary scene.

The Salon is also a proud supporter of the French chocolate, promoting the country’s finest chocolates and chocolatiers around the world.

Pastry is on centre stage this year, as the Salon pays homage to the world’s top pastry chefs with a 2,500 sqm space dedicated to cake- themed events, demonstrations and (of course!) tastings. There’ll also be the all-new Cake Time, the first pop-up tea-room to host a different world-class pastry team every day: “One Day, One Palace”.

5 DAYS OF CHOCOLATE AND PASTRY IN ALL ITS FORMS, ON STAGE FOR YOUR PLEASURE:

The Pastry Show, with a long line of some of the industry’s greatest masters, young talents and international maestros will take to the stage and unveil their creations.

The Cacao Show and the all-chocolate fashion show. This year, the theme is 25 years on, and as sexy as ever!

Don’t forget the full line-up of chocolate conferences, with experts debating the hottest topics in the industry, as well as a focus on Women in Chocolate (cocoa producers and chocolatières). And of course, the unmissable Salon Junior is back for another year.

Brasil no Cocoa of Excellence (CoEx) Programme

Cocoa of Excellence (CoEx) Programme

SAVE_THE_DATE_2019

The Cocoa of Excellence (CoEx) Programme is the entry point for cocoa-producers to participate in the International Cocoa Awards (ICA), a global competition recognizing the work of cocoa farmers and celebrating the diversity of cocoa flavours. This is a unique opportunity to promote high-quality cocoa and diversity at national level and celebrate the skills and know-how of the men and women who produce it.

CoEx is celebrating its 10th year anniversary and we are excited to announce a growing number of countries and cocoa producers participating!

For this 2019 Edition, we received 223 samples from 55 cocoa-producing countries. The CoEx Technical Committee completed the evaluation of all accepted samples transformed into liquor and we are pleased to announce the names of the producers of the best 50 samples. The next step is the evaluation of these samples processed into chocolate in September for the selection of the 2019 International Cocoa Awards that will be celebrated at the Salon du Chocolat in Paris from 30 October to 3 November 2019.
